Caroline Burke Designs & Associates, Inc. is lead by owner and lead designer Caroline Burke. The Company is located in Manhattan Beach and has been providing Comprehensive Interior design and decorating services since 2007.

Caroline Burke

Caroline Burke Designs & Associates has been a fixture in South Bay design for more than ten years. From her office and design studio in Manhattan Beach, Caroline has created projects throughout Southern California for clients that include families, executives, and professional athletes, while working with renowned architects and esteemed builders.

An East coast native, Caroline attended Skidmore College in New York and the London School of Economics. Upon graduation, Caroline returned to New York where she worked as a media spokesperson. Caroline’s career took her around the world to cities including Madrid, Hong Kong, Tai Pei, and Los Angeles. It was in Los Angeles that Caroline discovered her passion for interior design.

Caroline attended UCLA Interior Design School while working as a designer for Michael Maloney of Maison Luxe in Manhattan Beach. Caroline then went to work on celebrity homes with acclaimed designer Sue Balmforth in Venice, California. In 2007, Caroline opened her own firm in Manhattan Beach. Caroline has been recognized by publications and the community for her design work, and the firm was nominated for best interior designer by the Los Angeles- Best of L.A. TV.

Caroline resides in the South Bay, but she continues to travel throughout the world as she pursues her passions of design, photography, and spending time with the people she loves. Caroline has served on the foundation board of Providence, Little Company of Marry Hospital for 7 years.

Zuly Gomez

Zuly has been with Caroline Burke Designs for 11 years and oversees all of the daily business aspects of the company. As the Office Manager, Logistics Coordinator, and Financial Accounts Manager, Zuly plays a critical role in making sure that the office runs efficiently for clients, architects, builders, and vendors. Installations are fluid and flawless thanks to Zuly’s ability to organize and orchestrate so many people and companies on such a significant day. Zuly is enormously personal and highly organized by nature, and that carries into her professional realm wherein she keeps the office buttoned-up so that projects remain on time and on budget. Zuly and her family reside in the South Bay, and they are an integral part of Caroline Burke Designs & Associates.

Rosalina Mora

Rosalina has been with the company for 6 years and her technical design skills on construction drawings have earned Caroline Burke Designs & Associates a reputation as the best new construction and new- build design firm. Rosalina graduated from Cal State Long Beach interior and architectural design program. She is a CAD expert, and that permits us to work seamlessly with architects of the highest caliber to create highly detailed drawings and floor plans. Rosalina is a senior designer who works with Caroline on the creative aspects of projects so that projects flow flawlessly from the conception to completion phases. Recently married, Rosalina lives in the South Bay, and is an important component to the success of Caroline Burke Designs & Associates.

Brett Bykerk

Brett joined the team in 2019. He has a strong background in CAD and technical design. Brett attended the Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach where he excelled and obtained multiple awards during the course of his education. Born and raised in the South Bay, Brett has a passion for travel and adventure. Whether it’s snowboarding the local mountains, sleeping under the stars in Joshua Tree, or traveling abroad, Brett draws his design inspiration through his travel experiences.
